La Chica Fantasma: Page 15
If you recall, they were originally set to go upstairs to fetch their Scrabble game.
I’m rather good at Scrabble.
The way I framed panel three has a bit of a Jim Jarmusch vibe about it. There’s a really cool shot in Only Lovers Left Alive in which Tom Hiddleston and Anton Yelchin are ascending Hiddleston’s character’s stairs, and this is my homage, of sorts, to that.
Just a little bit of inside info for you on this day.
Two more pages to go after this one and that’ll be this story done and dusted, chumbos.
It’s the thought that counts Millie.
Ho ho hooooh, Festive Fantasma.
I’ve never really played scrabble…all Ive done is see how many curse words I could make before my parents found me and took the board away…
Chess and Scrabble are the only two board games I’ve ever gravitated towards. My friend and I, when we were thirteen, used to play chess over the phone. We were obsessed with chess for awhile there. Geeks.
Heh I used to play chess against my old friend back when I was in my early to mid 20s…..and I used to play against my computer….I think only beat my friend twice and I never beat the computer….it’s hard for me to strategize that way….I’m not good at predicting others moves.
Ahhh chess, ’tis truly a gentleman’s game.
Trivia time!
One of Chelsea’s current life goals is to beat Alain at chess.
She’ll get there. One day. Probably.
Only =two= more pages? B…b…b…b…but I’ve been enjoying this story sooooooo much. [frowny face]
Oh well. At least we haven’t seen the last of Ms. Chica. I suspect.
You suspect correct. I have a lot planned for her.
I’m so pleased that you’ve enjoying this story so much, that’s rad!
