Heeheehee! Little kids trying to pull a fast one on their elders is so great to see, because they so bad at it.
Clover’s having not of that sort of carry-on from you two today though. Otherwise we wouldn’t have much of a story about to take place.
Those floor tiles I reused/appropriated from a far older work. I originally made them in photoshop to use as bathroom wall tiles in a panel featuring Kayla mentally preparing herself to extricate a firmly-stuck grizzly bear from her toilet with nothing but a plunger at her disposal, in a comic about her and I making a comic.
Because this is what happens when I write the comics I produce with my friends.
Look at those faces! How can you stay mad at that?!
To Clover’s credit, she doesn’t get mad. That’s one of the things I love about her. She’s a down to Earth mom. She speaks to her kids like they’re people, not “just kids.”
Hey, Kayla’s link goes nowhere. (You pasted it beside the link of this page instead of replacing. :V)
Fixed. Jeez, sorry about that Bug*, that was a rather egregious stuff-up on my part.
[*”Bug” is my pet name for Kayla.]
