Yeah, that must be it. It’s always the hair, in’nit?
It takes me (on average) around 50 layers in Photoshop and 15 minutes of painting in and building up said layers, per character, when I’m digitally painting Chelsea, Millie and Clover’s hair.
So it took me roughly 2.5 hours just to do their hair on this page; ergo I hope — for the sake of Millie’s faith in me — that by her standards I’m doing her hair right.
Ironically enough, exactly today I read a part of J. K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy where she transcribed Umbrella. =O
