And thus we reach the conclusion of the For Shadow story.
Ballet! Oh those poor girls…
Mind you, one can find good stuff in ballet.
Next week I’ll be posting a one-page Halloween-themed thingy, and the following week I shall be posting a terrifying tale of the hidden horrors of Marshmallow Peeps, and the week after that is when the third C&M story-proper, la Chica Fantasma, begins.
It is one of the spookiest things I’ve done in comics thus far.
Gee I wonder why? ;)
I LOVE the first panel. Everything about it sings & for some reason I particularly like Mom’s stance and appearance.
“Gishlings.” *chortle*
Gestures and expressions. Yes. Yes yes. Yes.
Good one, guys!
(Just can’t beat them broad cultural horizons, that’s what I always say…)
Thank you very much Fredcritter! ^__^
“Gishlings” is something that popped into my head sometime before I drew this page, and it felt like a perfect term of endearment for Clover to use on her daughters. So… I’ll most likely use it again at some point.
Many many thanks! ^-^
Personally I’d have exchanged “ballet” for “boxing”.
For a “Shadowboxing” joke
That could have worked rather well.
Ahh sciamachy, “it’s just like punching only you don’t have to hit anyone and you’ll feel so tough!“*.
But I think ballet works better as a joy-deflating anathema of funtimes, eeheh-heehee.
*Link NSFW(ish?)
Yes, Sir. That would indeed have been a different punchline…
Not a bad joke, but the girls might have enjoyed seeing that ;)
Besides, their shadows have high class taste!
Feels good to have another chapter up in its completion!
