The sock monkey is a shoutout to my pal S. Fitts, a very adroit creative type, and also Queen of the sock monkeys. A sort of semi-suburban version of Jareth the Goblin King I suppose (but with way better hair).
Surrounded by her sock-monkey subjects, singing twisted malicho ditties under midnight’s mocking moonlight…
