The spirit of Iain Banks’ hideously brilliant debut novel is still alive and well folks, tucked away in obscure (webcomic’s) dark corners like the corners it explores betwixt its sinisterly perturbatious pages.
Oh, and Catwings is cool too. If you’re a kid reading this you should totally check Catwings out. But whatever you do, for the love of God, stay away from The Wasp Factory. That thing… irreparably warped my mind a little, and I was in my early teens when I first read it.
Jeez Maxwell what is this, a comic-commentary or a book club?
Look how horrified that spider is at what Millie is doing. He’s utterly aghast!

Eh, that’s nothing. Where I come from, they sometimes don’t even get taken down, ever. They’re in the most abundance by the start of September, though.
Just outside my town is a Christmas-themed billboard that features a dog wearing a santa hat. He wears that hat all year long.
But due to me being in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s actually more appropriate for him to be wearing such a colder-climate hat at this time of year than at Christmas.
